LIFE+ aims to contribute to the setting up of, to the updating and to the development of community policies and rights in the field of the environment, particularly in how it is applied in other policies and thereby participate in sustainable development. It has a budget of 2.1 billion euros.
Three specific strands for the environment
LIFE+ is made up of three specific strands:
- LIFE+ «Nature & biodiversity»,
- LIFE+ «Policies & Governance in the sector of the environment»,
- LIFE+ «Information & communication».
the place of culture
The first strand could interest cultural operators that are working on projects linked to natural heritage
The second strand is more likely to concern cultural operators that are working on projects linked to the urban environment and the quality of life.
