Rarita Zbranca is arts manager and curator and director and cofounder of the AltArt Foundation in Cluj, Romania. The AltArt Foundation (AltArt) promotes digital culture and contributes to the development of cultural policies. It is involved in the development of cultural policies contributing to strengthening the Romanian cultural sector and recognition of the impact of culture on societal development.  
Rarita Zbranca also does cultural research, coaching and consultancy and is involved in cultural policy development.  She is a member of the Strategy Group of the “A Soul for Europe” initiative and of Team Europe Romania. During the past eleven years she has worked in the fields of arts and culture, media, democracy and minority rights for nongovernmental organisations including AltArt Foundation, “A Soul for Europe”, Ethnocultural Diversity Resource Center, Soros Foundation for an Open Society Romania.

E-tribal art aims at addressing social structures and communication in virtual social networks. It brings together 12 international artists to test new ways of reaching electronic tribes with their work.

Project : Mobilising Culture for Regional Development

Presentation of the project (Soul for Europe website)

Mobilising Culture for Regional Development aims at addressing the impact of culture on regional development beyond the cultural sector.
Workshops will be organised in Sofia, Bulgaria - Prague, Czech Republic - Cluj, Romania with the final objective of setting up a platform for dialogue between European, national and local authorities and civil society on the questions of culture as a motor for development.
This is a project of the A Soul for Europe Initiative.
