The framework programme « Fundamental Rights and Justice » aims to create an area of liberty, security and justice. It has a budget of 543 millions euros and runs from 2007 to 2013.

The framework programme « Fundamental Rights and Justice » is made up of 4 main programmes:
- specific programme «Fundamental Rights and Citizenship»,
- specific programme «Combatting violence (Daphné), drug prevention and informing the public»,
- specific programme «Judicial cooperation in criminal matters»,
- programme spécifique «Judicial cooperation in civil matters».
a specific programme that could interest the cultural sector
The specific programme «Fundamental Rights and Citizenship» could interest cultural operators to the extent that projects submitted favour a European society based on EU citizenship that respects fundamental rights, fight against anti-semitism, racism and xenophobia and reinforce the civil society in the field of fundamental rights.
trois types d'actions
Les types d’actions soutenues par le programme spécifique "Droits fondamentaux et citoyenneté" englobent notamment :
- des actions spécifiques menées par la Commission européenne (études et travaux de recherche, sondages et enquêtes, organisation de campagnes et de manifestations publiques…),
- des projets transnationaux,
- un soutien aux organisations non gouvernementales ou à d’autres entités poursuivant des objectifs d’intérêt général européen visés par le programme.
A ce jour, il n'y a pas d’appel à propositions en cours sur le programme spécifique « Droits fondamentaux et citoyenneté ».
